My Journey in Dressage: A 35-Year Legacy
With a dressage career spanning thirty-five years, I’ve had the privilege of achieving several notable milestones. Some highlights include:
- Top 12 Selection Trials for the Pan American Games (1995)
- Top 12 Selection Trials for the 2000 Olympics
My expertise in biomechanics was honed under the guidance of renowned researcher, author, and instructor Mary Wanless. Additionally, I have received extensive training from esteemed professionals such as Guenter Seidel, Sandy Howard, Gerrit-Claes Bierenbroodspot, and Christine Traurig.
As I embark on this exciting new chapter, I look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for dressage with you!
Andre Costa
Andre Costa is a native of Ribatejo, the heart of horse country in Portugal. He holds a degree in Technical Equine Studies and Management from Alter do Chão. For the past 16 years, André has been an integral part of Casa Cadaval, where he serves as the Head Rider and Technical Manager of the Coudelaria. In this role, he manages the extensive breeding program for the esteemed House of Cadaval.
With 24 years of experience in riding, André has trained horses from their early stages through to the Grand Prix level. His expertise and dedication led him to establish Equifind, a horse-locating business, in 2015.
